How families and professionals can ask for help, in confidence.
Requests for support to Home-Start Stirling can come from any professional working with a family, and parents can also refer themselves.
Reasons for a request often include one or more of the following: multiple births, disability or ill health, loneliness or isolation, depression or postnatal depression, difficulties with parenting skills, relationship problems, domestic abuse, or families affected by alcohol or substance use.
Speak to the team by phone, email or through our contact form to discuss a request for support in confidence. The family must consent to this being discussed.
Complete the Request for Support form together with the Support Options form and email both to us.
The help offered varies according to the family's needs. Support is only ended when it is agreed it is no longer required, and we try to end our help in a sensitive, manageable way.
